Brethren's season ended much the way it started:

Brethren Christian falls on the road in first round

TWENTYNINE PALMS – Brethren Christian lost to Twentynine Palms, 63-22, on Friday night in the first round of the CIF-SS East Valley Division playoffs at Twentynine Palms High.

Warriors quarterback Brad Hess got as much as he could out of the passing game by completing 12 of 24 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw one interception.

Hess’s primary target was wide receiver Jeremiah Bell, who caught seven passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

The Warriors’ defense was swamped early, allowing the Wildcats to score 56 of their 63 points in the first half.
